No it was not fun. Any of you that said you had a good time trailer your car there for 5.5 hours or more one way? Even if it gets reschuled there will be about half the people there to RACE not bullshit come back. Yea im pissed. Will be doing all local events from now on.

11 hours one way (dragging my car behind me). Never hooked up with the 2gnt guys that I went over there for. Still had a great time. If you want to race get used to the saying "Well, that's racing" cause shit can always happen. You'll learn determination and patience.

Thanks I dont except failure that well at all. Sorry I went off like I did I know others traveled many states farther away than I did. Some guys would say I have a bike ride to what they go threw.I guess I get all rapped up in how things should and need to be that something not happening is not an option. Besides racing being around you all makes all this worth while. :coy:

I noticed that at the Best Western as well.

LOL i saw that too that was funny. good choice of beer at least.

so yeah pretty much the highlight of the weekend was the mirage burn out and the crazy canadians. they were mad cool

Also, If you are being a moron and doing burnouts when you have a torn ACL torn MCL and a torn Meniscus, don't hurry when getting out of the car in the rain. You might slip and re-tear your semi-healed MCL like I did. I'm having surgery on Monday tho :nono:

You were walking around with that kind of damage to your knee? Either you have the highest pain tolerance or you were heavily medicated. Hope your not trying to play sports again. Good luck, I'm a victim of knee injuries also.

(patented by some guys from virginia beach i believe, whom also cooked some amazing chicken).

I flippin knew Food had to be involved somewhere. You can't bring DSM'rs from around the country to one spot and not have damn good food being cooked!

And see!!! I knew beer would be involved! All DSMr's are alike! :D We can't group up unless Food and Alcohol is involved... AHAHAHAHAA

Love the Intercooler tho... I did something like that once... Just cause I already had the IC where I wanted it and had to get a pipe made.

I am upset I didn't make it out for Saturday. I finished the car Saturday @ 2am, and was ready to roll Sunday.

whoever comes to the rescheduled day will see the first passes in a 4G'd RX-7. I would like to think I am the originator since I posted pics of the motor inb the car last year. Waiting on a head that never came, for 6 months put the project on hold until now.

Pics will be up tomorrow.

At first I thought the pipes were powder-coated black with red couplers... atleast thats what it kind of looks like from afar.

Exactly. But my word doesn't stand a chance in these forums. full of f*gg%*'s.

Alas, I drove from Canada, thru loads of Rain, to find an empty Norwalk :( But now I'm back in good ol Akron Ohio, I'll catch everyone at the reschedule for sure!

Hell yeah! The Canadians brought a grille, burgers, and hot dogs, and West Michigan DSM brought the keg. We DSMer's are definitely aware of the necessitys. :D

the black 2g in the last picture... where's the IC piping?
He came with us. It's a 420a car, but not yet turbo'd. He fitted it with an FMIC, but is in the process of gathering the rest of the parts to turbo it.
