Odd suspension noise

Ok so as I am driving down the road, if I slightly turn the steering wheel in either direction I get an odd noise that sounds, and feels like something is either rubbing or makes a mis alignment on the tire. It is more profound if I turn slight to the left. Its a 99 GST 95k, I had 18's on it, but for the winter I switched back to 16's. It is not a daily driver, and it doesnt get driven really hard, but I do like to have fun every now and then. There are no suspension upgrades. I bought new wheel hubs, but have ot put them on due to the fact that when I took the tire off, I couldn't feel any play in the bearing. Any one have any suggestions?

If you didnt have any play in the bearings why did you buy the new hub? did you check for play up and down (bad hub) and left right (bad tie rods).

Also check your inner tie rods.

Is there a spacer you forgot to take off the wheel when you switched to your 16's?

You can have a bad wheel bearing and have no play in it. You need to check for up and down play with the tire on.

i had/have the same problem..the mechanic told me it was a bad ball joint in the lower control arm..it makes a weird noise either way i turn but more if i turn left and when i hit a bump of any sort it also makes a weird noise..almost like a grinding noise..
