when I start my car after a min. or two the check engine light comes on. And when I drive it comes on ONLY when I let off of the gas. As soon as I give gas again the light goes off. Any ideas?

A DVOM is a digital volt meter. Check the resistance of the TPS and match what you see versus the specs per the manual. And as for the OBD plug, its next to the fuse panel. Well almost in it, its a square plug/box.

the plug in is right next to the fuse panel near the clutch pedal. go to VFAQ.com and it will tell you exactly how to run your own CEL codes. and it gives you a printable page of all the codes. most simple way to do it is use a i wire with a inline light bulb. it's very simple you will never go to autozone again for codes.

It's best to test the TPS with a scope. I have had TPS test good with a dvom, but bad on a scope where you can actually see a glitch or dip where the bad or dead position on the sweep is.

I have this same problem, but in conjunction with a TPS code, it also says "Injector Cycle". I think some connections on my ECU are coming loose, because I cant do anything for WOT above 4500 the car just bucks and it feels like fuel cut. I have 560's and a supra pump with an AFPR. So its not fuel cut. What does an injector cycle CEL mean? I have a logger I can post some numbers for you guys as well. Thanks!

Depending upon how much boost you're running, it may still be fuel cut.
Also, PLEASE fill out your car's profile so we know what kind of mods we're dealing with. For example, while you have 560s, what do you have controlling them? If the answer is 'nothing', that would be an easily solvable problem.
'Injector cycle' generally will mean that either you have a dying or dead injector, or (far more likely) you're exceeding 100% duty cycle, and are still hitting fuel cut.

Log your injector duty cycle, and listen to each injector with a mechanic's stetho to make sure they're clicking along at idle properly.
