OBD2 logger " not connecting"..... WTF!!!!!

im running a palm m100. when i first got my logging software everything worked great until my batteries died. so i put in new batteries, and went on my computer, perfromed a hotsync and got the obd2 logging software back on my palm. welp now i cant connect. it just sits there and says " waiting for connection" i wiggled around the obd2 cable, its connected fine, hot sync cable is connected correctly. i have 3 hot sync cables, tried all of them still same problem. i also tried it on my moms 2001 grand am and it did the same thing, would not connect. anybody know wtf is going on here?

Reset the byte timings back to their default values. If your byte timings are way off, then there is a chance it won't connect.

Did you forget to put the regrestration code into the OBD2 Program???

what program are you useing to log? I use MMCD and I had to try all the diffent baud rates on the palm and it just so happened to be the last one I tried and it connected. In MMCD you have to go into the options->prefences menu to set the buad rate. Good luck.
