i recently purchased a laptop and have a data logging cable. i am just wondering if there is a free software i could use to log my 91 gsx. i already searched in the forums but could not find anything.:dsm:

Search MMCd software. If you read through the info posted in the link above...it shows you how to run palm software on your laptop. If the link above didn't help, be more specific as to what you are looking for.

Todd released his TMOLogger to the public domain a few years back:

The only problem is that you need a laptop with an older hardware serial port on COM1, 2, 3, or 4. If you have a newer laptop with only USB ports you need to use a Keyspan USB-to-Serial adapter and force it to use COM1-4.
If the datalogging cable that you have has a 9-pin male connector, that is made to work with a PDA/Palm instead, so you will also need to either pick up a null-modem adapter, or open the 9-pin connector up and swap pins 2 &3 to use it with a gender adapter.
