So I'm looking for an O2 sensor for a relatively decent price, but I also want one that will work correctly with out ECU and last a decent length of time. I've seen "universal" sensors for less than $50, "Walker" sensors going for under $60, and the Denso sensors for $75-85. Is there going to be a difference in the performance of these? Keep in mind I will never use leaded gas (apparently that's one of the great things about the Denso sensor). Are there any places that have the OEM sensor for a good price?

I dont understan with out ecu...so you running standalone or what.. the best ones are the oem ones..and there are plug and play for the connectors

I just mean some are made for the car, some are "universal", and thus may not be a perfect design. I'd like some feedback from people who've tried different sensors.

I bought a universal. Been working fine.

You could pickup an OEM one off of ebay for cheap probably.

I bought a Denso first time fit replacement sensor to replace my OEM one which is acutally a Denso. All O2 sensors work the same it is that the Universal ones come with a long cable and sometimes need to be cut while the OEM replacement ones come with the exact length cable.
