So my car has a wideband o2 guage it works but doesnt read A/F Ratio so I figured it has the gauge but no wideband o2 sensor, But yesterday I had to pull off my downpipe to take out the tranny and noticed there is a o2 sensor welded to the dp but the wires broke somehow and I for the life of me cannot find the other broken wires anywhere to hook this sensor up, So Im wondering if this o2 could be wideband and thats why my gauge isnt working, its a 4wire o2 sensor im just not sure if its a wideband, I couldnt see any markings on the sensor itself, I included a picture of the clip maybe someone can tell if its a oem or aftermarket clip

I never saw that on my dsms before, looks aftermarket to where who knows or what it does.

Thats what I was thinking, The clip plugs into the o2 sensor on the downpipe, So im hoping its wideband, If only i could find the other half of the wires:banghead:

What gauge do you have. Where do the wires from the gauge go? It would help to identify what you will need to get it working. If the controller is built into the gauge then maybe just a wire up and go :idontknow:

wideband sensors have 6 wires... if you want to find where the wires are for your gauge try looking along the firewall.

I bet someone had a sensor go bad and never replaced it but left the gauge in place.
