Keep the o2 sensor housing and get a quieter exhaust. If you are not running your cat that will quiet things down also.

not true, i've read MANY post of people who went from a turbo back to an O2 eliminator back and said the noise was noticably louder.

dood hez gotta teh copz telling him hiz whip needs to be tooned down cuz its to loud

:p

He needs a new muffler if the police are telling him is exhaust is too loud. While an o2 housing may sound different to the trained ear, it will not make his melon shooter quiet enough for the police.

We really have to wait to find out what the hell he has on his car exhaust-wise before a solution can be given.

Please, please read what i quoted before replying ....I stated not true to that an O2 housing doesn't effect the noise, nowhere in my post did i mention that the O2 housing will make his car QUIETER or NOT AS CONSPICUOUS TO THE COPS. that is all.
