Okay I am going to be installing an O2 eliminator exhaust and I have heard it is a pain in the butt to get off and I have a question about the removal. I have a pic of it and maybe you will be able to figure out what I am trying to ask. The pic is off one of the tech guides and is from a 1g, I am working on a 2g so someone point out any differences if you know of any.

My question is the bolts hooking the O2 housing to the turbo are they bolted to the turbo itself or is there a stupid nut that I am going to have to get at with a wrench? I currently have my heat shields still on so I can't tell. I also tried looking in my manual but I could not find anything about the 02 housing. Thanks guys, all responses are greatly appreciated. :thumb:

3 bolts and 1 nut. its not that hard but not that easy either, just take your time and soak everything with liquid wrech to make things easier
So that means there is a stud coming from the turbo itself, right? And when I put my O2 eliminator i should use some anti-seize?

I took mine off a few weeks ago to put a tubular housing on. Getting it off isn't really that bad. Just make sure you soak everything real good with some PB Blaster or something. The bottom front is held on with the stud and a nut that is coming outta the turbo. It's just a tight area, but really you'll probably only have problems getting the bottom nut off in he back. I threw some anti-seize on mine before I put the new one on to get it back off easier. Hopefully that'll work since I do have to take it back off soon and port some more. Good luck.
