Im about to install larger o2 housing on a 99 gsx and different people are telling me to do it different ways. I was wondering if someone that did this install could let me know the best way and maybe even some pics. That would be great and thank you very much in advance.

My car is similar to yours. All I did was remove the oil dipstick holder and the driver side fan and thats about it. I suggest spraying the bolts with PB blaster and let it sit for a while then try to get the bolts off. Good luck :thumb:

disconnect and remove the battery so you know you have disconnected it, you are working very close to the alternator. I also agree to the comment of PB Blaster.

I have always changed them out while the turbo and manifold where out so I have never done it the hard way but it shouldn't actually be that hard. Move the things mentioned above and get yourself some good deep sockets and go at it.

move all the stuff out of the way to get the nut off of the stud.. then use straight deep sockets for the outside 2, and the last one all the way in there use an angle socket :thumb:

PB blaster helps, also i'd have the car/exhaust pretty warm too.
