I was wondering what the o2 dumps that were routed out the bumper called, I've tried searching, but I don't know what I'm searching for, if someone could help, that would be great.

thanks,
Adam

Cops around here is not very educated on it. so I always say it's closed and only open it up when I am at the drag strip and since there is no exhaust gases coming out when the check it out they dont care. But then again this is small town USA.

LOL!! The guy i take it to would shit a brick if he saw that or told him that. He would fail me on the spot, dont even have to pull into the garage. I wish i could see a video of somebody telling a cop that its closed when im on the road, and open at the dragstrip. LOL

what about the entire exhaust doing a side exit? i have seen it done, but i suck at searching as well. been looking through numerous threads about this. looks as though one will have to relocate the alternator, already will not have anything else on the car (for those that are following my build in here LOLz.) i dont mind making my own flange and exhaust to come right out the drivers side bumper at all, but it would make life alot easier if i could just buy one haha. this is for a stock 14b btw.

thanks in advance,
dazz

If you do decide to route it out the bumper, make sure you don't slaughter the hole it comes out of. If it looked clean though then it would be cool.

What is causing flames to shoot out of the dump tube in that video? I want the same thing! Right now i have a dump o2 housing. If i route that out the bumper will i get some sick flames?

If that is from antilag, will i get the same effect with stutterbox?

You are correct, the flames are from antilag. This is different from stutterbox though. The stutterbox is just used to hold the RPM's at a certain level for launching. Antilag involves retarding ignition timing and adding a bit of fuel to spool the turbo.

I considered getting this Mooneyes but after closer examination, it looks like it won't work because the bumper curves and these pipes (I would only use one) have a straight flange on it. I'm trying not to do the flexible tubing deal & I'm not too keen on the JayRacing designs. Where else can you get a bumper dump flange? How about a single, round dtm sticking out. Something like http://www.bosalperformance.com/images/Bro_prod/chameleon tips/259-311.jpg but smaller (that's 3" x 5.3") I was actually going to try to only have the slant part stick out, not the straight part --or is that too ricery
