NT to Turbo

so lets say i get the ecu exhaust itake ect to go from nt to turbo could i run more than 8 psi with turbo rods pistons and crank or are there other differences?

If you use turbo pistons you can go above 8 psi with the lower compression ratio. However you are going to need some kind of fuel management system to control it. Also you are going to need the turbo ecu and probally the turbo ecu harness.

Someone else just posed the same link to the same turbo kit. Not saying I've never bought anything off ebay before, but that looks a bit too good to be true. Could be wrong but the kit in the pics is sitting on a sheet of cardboard not in a shop. Whats that tell you?

ya i suppose. damnit i want a turbo but my parents wont let me buy another car and a jdm swap is too costly so im shit outta luck i guess. guess i mght as well mod out my nt to its fullest extent which ive heard isnt much o well thx anyway

AWD with T-case, 5k since rebuild by Mitsubishi, $1800 somewhat negoitable.

damn theyll hook up to fwd nt trannys wont they isnt the only difference gearing but anyway if ud sell it for only like 1800 id buy it and pay for shipping but does it come with any exhaust parts im kinda stuck there id have to buy aftermarket so its kinda costly

Sorry already sold the exhaust off which was a 3" Buscher turbo back, the only thing left is the o2 sensor housing. Yes it would bolt right up to the trans, but the geraing would be diffrent but to your advantage. The NT trans is set up to work with a lower torque motor, so it mutuplys torque more efficently, like putting a set of gears in the rear end of a RWD car.

Also $1800 is a fair price for a motor who's history can be spoken for. JDM motors with an unknown history are going for $2100 on ebay.

the n/t tranny will bolt up,you have to use your n/t flywheel though.turbo flywheels are bigger and wont fit in the n/t bellhousing.you can get away with a n/t ecu harness.just splice in the knock sensor.theres BIG section on here for n/t-turbo conversions.
