NT to turbo help

can anyone let me know if it is possible to convert my 92 NT to turbo without blowing head gaskets and if so how much safe boost can I run

It can be done 8-10psi shouldnt be a problem with proper tuning. Look in the N/T turbo bolt on section for more info.

no no nooo you can pick up turbo internals for very cheap in the parts catalog.You have the 4g63 engine so it would be HIGHLY recommended that you do that cause then you can run 15-20 safely. i rather do that man trust me it wont cost you that much either. Look stock internals can run recommended no higher then 8.10 is pushing like that guy said but I'm sure it can be done. Get turbo pistons and robs like 50 bucks and turbo camshafts and your pretty much done. Then a smic,turbo,ic piping, bov,manifold, ecu,injectors maybe fuel pump and thats pretty much it.Good luck man hope it goes well i love hearing there are more turbo dsm's everyday

IMHO: no higher then 5-7 pounds unless you get really good at tuning.

That's without the turbo pistons and rings, and no intercooler. Basically a stock NT with a turbo slapped on.

You could buy a turbo motor used with under 100k for anywhere between $500 and $1000, saw one online complete with turbo for $800 all ud need after thats the intercooler, and the piping to make it complete. a set of turbo cams might be nice, maybe u can get some from a junk yard.
