NT MAF on 91 turbo.

Hi, i got a 91 turbo. I believe the MAF is bad, car actually runs good with it unplugged. I plug it in, car won't go over 10 mph.

So I narrowed it down.

I have 2 non-turbo MAF in my basement. Finding a turbo MAF seems hard to come by.

So the question is, can I use a non-turbo on my turbo car somehow?

Yes, you should be able to. The turbo MAF has a 7th wire that the N/T one doesn't which operates the boost gauge. I believe that is the only difference.

When i did my swap i had to add one wire to the connector.

My boost gauge doesn't work anyways. I just got a turbo MAF so, I will swap and see tomorrow.
