I have a 92 eclipse NT, i have intake, spark wires, header, and eghaust is comeing in this weekend. What should my next part be, i was thinking crank pulley maybe, but then while searching on here i read that a fellow NT 1g was running with a 3in GM MAF. I thought only turbo guys could run those, can i run one on my NT?

well, I have a 94 N/T talon and it works fine but only if you use a maft (mass air flow translator) and yes, you can use it you do the same :talon:

I do feel a difference in gains since it's taking in more air than with the stock air mass and I can fine tune the maft a little bit, since there's more air than I add more fuel = more gain
but, it veries from person to person because it depens on the persons settings.

I added mine, ran the filter down in the fender well and saw some very impressive gains. It is more difficult to tune with the n/t compared to the turbo vehicles however...specifically because they were designed to run turbo injectors (450cc or greater). It was running extremely lean until I bumped up to 390cc's and added a FPR. Now it is awesome. I would highly recommend doing it if you have the supporting mods to help emphasize the gains from the upgrade.

I ran the maft on my old gs,I even wrote an artice on how to hard-wire it in.It works fine,I had to tichen things up because of my exhaust and cai.The maft doesnt know what injectors you have, the 450's or the n/a 240's.It just considers the 450 setting the stock setting. It leans and richens them out the same way.I had mine set on 440 and leaned it out 10% on the mid and wot. It's now at 510 on my tsi since I added the n/a fpr to the 450's.
