1G 1g MAF to GM MAF

ok so I'm still building and this is down the road but i am trying to find out info on switching to a gm maf. I'm building a 6 bolt and i want to get rid of the stock maf.

you can vent the bov, has less restriction than a 1g or 2g maf, and capable of 500+ hp

and you will need a maft.

you should look into speed density. it eliminates the MAF all together.

i was planning on venting the bov but i wanted to get rid of the maf so i could have that beautiful whine when i spool it up.

If you are going to run dsmlink v3 speed density is a great way to go.

Look into ds-map.net. Tons of info on there and no need for a outdated maf system by gm. Plus its SD which is leaps and bounds ahead of any maf system. And much cheaper than link.

ok i just bought a 1g, that has quite a bit of work done to it. he gave me a 3in maf. and the stock one AND the maft. what should i do... im sooo lost, it runs like shit with the 3in maf. and is vented to atmosphere. i dont beleive its been tunned. and another problem to add when the (sloppy loose) clutch is on the floor i can here scrapping from the trans... buit not when the clutch pedal is up. its like it doesnt hold enough pressure to pull the clutch off the flywheel... but i digress... my question is whats my best route for this whole maf situation?
