2G not holding boost

just installed my new sunpro boost guage and it reads 12-13 psi but it drops psi while at wot what is wrong

Do a boost leak test.

Check for pre turbine exhaust leaks.

Check your hoses and go to complete stop and check under it for leakage wish u best of luck

It could also be a bad waste gate actuator. pull it off and put an air hose to the vacuume nipple and see if it holds air pressure.

Don't forget, if its your first boost gauge in a 2G, the stock setup will not hold 12-13 all the way to redline. she piddles out around 6k or so and starts to fall.

i think you're right he's talking about just the gauge and not the actual boost
