Not boosting right after SAFC

Okay i have a evo3 16 and it was boosting strong i installed the SAFCII still ran fine for two days about three hours ago i turned it on and it made loud noises (knocking) and it hesitates when its suppost to boost. It does boost and the Boost gauge reads 13psi which i had it set to to break in the turbo but its really hesitating a lot and even at full boost it don't feel right. Any suggestions?

Is there anything that could cause the car to be very hesitent it show on the boost gauge 13psi but it does not feel like it..

I'd check your wiring on the S-AFC, also check for boost leaks.

so you installed the safc2 and it ran fine for a few days, but now its hesitating/being problematic? or did the problems come with the installation of the safc?

did you install bigger injectors at the same time as the safc? or do you just have the safc hooked up but zeroed out(bypassed basically)? do you have all the settings correct on the safc(Karmen, hi/lo throttle percenteges)? if i remember, the LO throttle is 30% and the HI throttle is 80% on a SAFCII, on a standard SAFC its a little different.

if you put on bigger injectors, what size, and what are your settings across the board on both high and low points?

also, boost leak test , youd be suprised how many threads wouldnt be averted with a simple 2 minute test.

The wire you spliced hooked up properly? That wire leads to the MAF. If it is disconnected, the car will act like the MAF isn't plugged in.
