I've heard a little about nos brand making a spool up kit for turbo cars. Anyone know how this works? Does it change compression or does the nos enter into the ex maifold? It sounds like a great idea. I've got a 97 gst spyder that is an auto. If I could spool up faster...well, 5 speeds would be in big trouble. I already jump a car length when 5 speeds shift. I am getting a 2800 billet stahl to add to my fully built auto tranny with translab shift kit. This should be fun.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Then I can launch under boost and feather the clutch to try to minimize wheelspin (which there is alot of, my GS-t is relatively stock) I can whup my buddy's auto Talon turbo every time... but he doesn't know how to launch.
If you're pulling a car length on a 5-speed car every time the guy shifts, then I would say the driver doesn't know how to power-shift his car. I wonder if you could beat a 5 speed (assuming everything else on our cars was the same) piloted by by a driver who knew what he was doing? Whatever the outcome, it would be a fun race, too bad you're not near me!
It'll actually chirp all 4 tires on a nice cold turbo friendly day.
