I replaced my stock intake filter with a k&n filter it completely changed the way the car sounds, which I know this is normal. I left the stock intake hose on, so I just swapped filters. This morning I put on a different hose, stainless steal or aluminum (dont know which at the moment). Now the BOV sounds comepletely different, its not nearly as high pitched and doesnt sound like its putting out as much psi. Is that normal?

Sounds like it's time for a boost leak test. Check your fittings on your air filter, MAS, and intake pipe. Make sure everything is tight. You might also want to adjust your BISS screw to let a little more fuel in. With more air flow, you need more fuel flow. Adjust the air/fuel ratio while the car is running and at optimum running temp (after about 5-7 minutes of idle is ideal).

It's going to sound different inside the hard pipe. Normal hose clamps will get it plenty tight to seal.

It's fine. Your next step should be to look into getting a better BOV. The stock plastic 2g valve leaks easily. I think a metal Evo 9 valve (direct fit) would work fine for you. And they can be had for pretty cheap.

Any changes to the intake will change how everything sounds. It is completely normal. Free-er flowing air filters etc will make things sound differently just as different mufflers do.
