or is it leaking? and if its not normal can someone tell me what flange it looks like i have so i can get a diffrent BOV..
my boost spikes high then goes back to wheir i got the MBC set 15,16 psi.
and since the screw got stripped the bov seems louder? but it also moved a lil bit when i first got the car as well,LOL so im confused!

LOL the more i think about it,it must be alright cause i doubt those tiny screws and nuts would hold up against any decent amount of boost, the other ones that are on the peice of the BOV are tight. THOUGHTS>?

It isn't like the BOV is some special secret design. You can get dozens of cheap, generic BOV's that work just as well as an expensive one. If it's leaking, or broken, just replace it, fix it, w/e.

There should be an oring inside the connection to make the seal.

Have you made a boost leak checker to see if it's leaking? A little soapy water spraying on the joint while it's pressurized will tell you if it's leaking or not.

naw i havent made a leak checker yet,any recomendations on a BOV thats decent priced and will reuse that flange thats on there?

Just searched, and no, there is no other BOV you can use other than a turbo xs BOV. Even if you go with a different one, they are known to have a 50% chance of leaking out of the box. I would go with the 1G BOV and have the flange for it welded in.
