okay my problem isnt the maf itself, but my car runs like crap and the code's showing intake air temp sensor is bad. non turbo 4g63. my original idea was to use a maft and a gm unit, but i dont know if it will solve the problem since they're designed for turbo cars. i know the gm unit doesnt have the IAT sensor in the MAF. will it work properly or am i stuck trying to find a stock MAF to fix the problem. would the MAF from the 1.8 4g37 work? ### i've already got 1 not working stock MAF from a junked 4g63 motor and it didnt work, theres only one left in any yard near me so i need more options. thanks

no one likes to reply to my posts i guess...

anyway, in case anyone else was wondering the MAF from the 1.8 motor will work on the 2.0. ports are smaller though so you'll have to drill the plastic rivets out of the back to get the ports off each unit and use the bigger ones. hasn't thrown engine code, and car runs alotbetter now with the 1.8 MAF installed in place of the busted 2.0 so all seems well.
