Are anyone else's cam gears hella noisy? Stock cam gears. Got a fix? thanks:talon:

Mine are a bit noisey if running without the cover, but other than they are not noisy at all. And when I say noisey I mean that they make a slight whine (not sure if that is a good description of the noise...) But they should not be making too much noise! Perhaps you can clarify "noise".

Cam gears don't whine. There is nothing on them to whine. It's either
A) Belt is overtightened and about to snap.
B) The idler or tensioner is going bad and the bearing is starting to make noise.

Either way you probably shouldn't be driving the car until you get the problem fixed. But if you choose too I will be on the look out for your "Timing belt broke for no reason" thread.
