I ordered two new cam gears/sprockets for my 1998 eclipse RS. I got both of them today and the exhaust looks different compared to the one I currently have.

Part numbers for the gears.
Intake: MD170799
Exhaust:MD302898

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Someone I am sure will be able to verify if the part numbers are correct. I do not know but what I can say is unless the part numbers are laser etched into the parts, you still may have the wrong item. I have had personal experience where the item in the box/bag/container was incorrect, it does happen. How are they different? A picture is worth a thousand words.........

I actually found out that the parts my parts department ordered were for the mitsu motor and not the mopat hunk o junk.

I should have been succinct and said take a picture of both exhaust cams and post it. I was being too vague in my previous reply.
Saying they are different with out a picture or trying to explain how they look different.......makes it a little difficult, at least for me.
