Just got these in from SIM. They look different than any pic ive seen for a 4g63 gear. Is this a new style?
The adjustments arent labeled, as in how many degrees each is but it sure looks like a LOT. I've seen the 5 bolt style but never the 6 bolt cam gear.
I just opened the box with 2 grand worth of stuff from SIM and things arent going well the deeper i dig.

Just called them. Sending them back. Trading for AEM trutimes. Possibly sending the head back too due to the silica/blasting media all over the deck. They are very helpful, i will say that.
Please, if anyone has seen a "6 bolt" gear like this let me know. I hve searched and searched and cant even find a pic of these for any application.

So you have seen these before? Link please?

Ive got bigger fish to fry now. Just cleaned head and found about 5 places that catch a fingernail on the deck. Just fuuuuuuck

Taken care of. They are sending me tru times straight up swap. Fair deal. The AEM is better in every way. I could not find these BC cam gears anywhere for a dsm or evo application. They forgot to send my original cam gears back so i couldnt compare diameter. No big deal, just some extra time

It looks like the marks on those gears are similar to ones on a micrometer. Basically they are at larger 'step' (let's say at 5 degrees instead of normal 2) and the inside 'hub' is marked at something else. That way if you line up the center marks (the two longer ones on these gears) it will be your starting point. As you then adjust and line up next two marks, you are actually only adjusting by a degree or so. If you take your original center mark and line it up with the next one, then you are adjusting by an entire 'step'. Some things are made that way so manufacturer doesn't have to make really fine marks really close together.

Thought to mention this for future reference even though you are sending them back.
