Ok, so i replaced my clutch last weekend, refrase, my friend replaced my clutch and flywheel last weekend, i was there for moral support. But, now im getting what sounds like scrapping comming from under the car. It didnt happen all the time, just once in a while while driving, does not happen while im still, but to best describe it, is like something rubbing on thin tin metal, not a harsh grinding sound or metal on metal squeek. Well tonight on the way home after driving for about an hour, that start, then all of a sudden it starts to vibrate. It was extremly violent, but enough to cause major concerns. Any ideas? Im thinking its the rear diff, if you dont have enough fluid, would this cause some of the issues? Also, the clutch that was put in is an ACT2600 W/ light flywheel.

Thanks in advance.
Jerry

The rubbing might have been the flywheel inpection plate rubbing against the flywheel. But as for the vibration I had the same thing happen to me and it was my flywheel getting ready to fall off.
I suggest disassemble and inspect your flywheel and pressure plate. You should have use this kit for the hardware.

thanks for the insight, ill look into that. I know its not the plate/guard rubbing, cuz i didnt put it back in.
