2G No spark in #4 and #1 spark plugs

I just got a 95 Eclipse GSX and there is no spark in number 4 and 1 spark plugs. I swapped the coil and crankshaft sensor, any suggestions?

Yes try swapping out the coil pack, the transistor pack. But first and most cheaply make sure plugs are good, wires are good. I had the same problem ended up being the transistor pack. I am positive this will fix your problem (99% sure that is)

Could be a number of things...plugs, wires, coil, transistors, Ignition control module, and even the ECU. OHM out the coils, should have less than 4 ohms on the primary and 10-15 K Ohms on the secondary side,

If the plugs,plug wires, and the ignition control module, and the coil pack check out then it is the ecu failing. Good luck with the car.

Power transistor unit. When they fail it always takes out 2 cylinders at a time. Ohm out the ignition coils first to rule them out. If they check out ok then find a PTU on ebay. Replace it and call it a day.

i swapped the transistor with one i had and it did the same thing unless both of mine are bad is there any way of testing them?

yeah get your haynes manual out and read how to check the ignition control module had this happen to me as well and it took out 2 and 3 cylinder. 100 bucks later and the problem was gone.

i put a different transistor in it and there is still no spark, any more suggestions?

did you ohm out the coil? coils run with one coil.. 1-4, and the other is 2-3 , soudns like the culprit.. but if you did... the wires get pluged and unpluggd and the metal things get kinda bent and don't make much contact.. check that.. and also... when you did you crank sensor?. . was the trigger plate OK?.. and the CAS?... scope it out.. you can use a multimeter on all of the sensors and parts ... good luck

mine was the coil after i replace that it was the cam sensor your multimeter is your best friend with dsm's

Get the oem service manual, you won't regret it.
