I've tried replacing the ECU, PTU, coil pack, plug wires and plugs. I've also replaced the stock 2g CAS and CPS with a 1g CAS. The MFI relay is working properly. I recently tested some plugs to see what was and wasn't getting power, but I don't know how to interpret the results.

I tested the CAS harness for power and the bottom wire had constant power, while the top two never had power, even when cranking the engine. I also tested the PTU harness. Two wires, the very end blue/black wire and the third wire from the other end (big black/white) had constant power while none of the others ever had power, including during cranking.

So, does anyone know what this means?

only 2 things left. wires not making contact somewhere (ptu sometimes don't contact act the plug) or the ECU decided not to send signal to that coil pack. you can try another ecu if there is a friend around with the same car or test the PTU circuit by putting 5 volts to the input signal to make sure that everything is working correctly, if so you know for a fact its the ecu
Friend just had this happen yesterday, it was his ecu.

By the way search transistor checking or something like that. there is a detailed how to if you decide to test if its just the ecu not sending it a signal

I've tried replacing the ECU
Also, all connections are secure.

Thanks for the ideas. Got any more?
