Hey guys,
My car turns over but it doesnt start.

Checked for spark and there is no spark in the #1 and #4 wires, the wires are good.

Should I change the coil pack?

Does the fuel rail need to be dis-assembled for it to slide out?

Its a 95 GST ( the Timing belt was changed less that 20K miles)

Thanks

Yeah, it sounds like you lost one of your coils. BUT, i have had a power transistor burn out on one side and did the same thing. I would have the coil tested first before you buy one. You should be able to get it out with out removing the rail, but sometimes they are a bi***. So you might have to loosen it.

You almost definately lost a coil or a power transistor or a connection between them (on the "A" side for cyl 1,4). Check connections first, then test resistance of "A" coil (it's marked). For turbo, primary should be .70-.86 ohms and secondary 11.3k-15.3k. Replace if out of this range (but note it may still be bad even if in range). You could also try swapping the coils to rule them out.
