I have no spark on my 1 and 4 cylnder. I check the coil its fine. Just wandering if the crank angle sensor might be the source. I just put on a new timing belt. If im off on that would it cause me not to have spark? hope someone can help

A bad CAS can definately kill your spark. It just sucks that you have to dig back into the timing belt area to get to it on a 95.

yup its a good chance it's your CAS I have the exact same problem and I've narrowed it down to that. there is a chance that your transister pack is bad though.

I replaced the cas and i still have no spark on #1 and #4. My timing is right. I did notice my cam position sensor is cracked pretty bad. Could that be the cause? Please help.

Did you check the wiring to the CAS while you were in there. I have seen people's belts chew through the wiring above the sensor.

There was no chews in the line. I replaced it with a new one. But my cam angle sensor is chewed up. Im putting a new one in tonite ill let ya know if it works. thnks for your help

just make sure that the fins that travel through the CAS did not get bent, this happend to me and i did not realize it untill I put a new CAS in and I think I may have ruined my new CAS...good luck

I had a similar problem. Injectors wouldnt work either. Wire harness was brittle in the back(i just shaked some wires in the back and the car started again). Also check your ECU.

Check the ohm\volt rateing on the cas, crank sensor, transistor, and coil. You will find the problem out real fast instead of just swapping parts out... :thumb:

I tested the power transistor. Its fine. The reason i replaced the cam position sensor is it was hacked up. I put it in lastnite and i got spark on all cylinders. The reason i replaced it was that it has 3 pins on it and one pin was broken. Thanks for all the responses guys.
