No spark, engine died suddenly

So I have searched and just need some opinions on what I should do.

Over a month ago I was driving and the engine just cut out. I thought it was the timing belt, but it looks like that is fine, all in time. So, I went to check the spark, and I get none. No spark on any cylinder. I went to test the ignition control module and it passes the test for one set of cylinders, but not the other. I guess my question is that shouldn't I be getting spark on two cylinders if the part of the module that controls two cylinders is working?

Maybe I am performing part of the test wrong, I am going to double check in the morning. I just don't want to replace this part ($115) if I don't need to. And I can't go to a junkyard and get one because I need it tomorrow.

I also believe I am getting fuel, but I don't hear the fuel pump prime itself with the ignition on. From what I hear, that is normal. Its also a Walbro 190, so I should be able to hear it when it is priming right next to my head.

So what should I check? CAS? I highly doubt both coils went, right?

Like I said I tried the test on the module and it failed one side, and I tried it a few times. I'm pretty sure I was on the right pins, too. (1 is on the right, 8 on the far left).

Any help would be great, I've been without a car for over a month now. WTF

Update:
Fuel pump works, I can hear it as soon as the engine starts cranking over.

Still no spark on ANY cylinder.

Sounds like a sensor. Could be the crank sensor. Same thing happened to me, when i went to start my car after the rebuild. Got fuel, and it would turn over fine but just no spark at all.

Unfortunately I don't have any DSM buddies.

I do work at an auto parts store, though, so I can probably try out the sensors and return them :)

My issue right now is that while taking my crank pulley off (doing water pump, too) I separated the two rings, so that's shot. And to make things worse, I still can't get that damn crank pulley off, been whackin on it for a while now.

Just for the sake of helping anyone else looking at this some day:

It ended up being that the balance shaft belt snapped, and took out my crank sensor... completely destroyed that thing. After searching I finally got a sensor overnight from my Advance store. Finished the timing belt job and got that new crank sensor in there, and she runs fine.
