No sound.. WTF!!!

My Aftermarket radio just cut out and shut off, after i turned the car off and back on i have no sound at all but the radio turns on and i can adujust the volume and other things on the radio itseft, but i still have no sound...

Bad wiring? Internal short on the box? Check your antenna? Maybe it doesn't have reception.

Also if your using the stock wiring there can be bad connections,causing no sound..

Are you still using the aftermarket radio internal amp? Or the amp from the stock Infinity system? If so there is an amp under the passenger seat and that might not be getting power either a fuse or possible broken amp.

Seems like wires are touching somewhere or ## antenna wire came out(black wire that plungs into back of the cd player).

I agree double check the fuse for the amp under the seat. Only other thing is the radio shorted out. you can pull teh radio and just direct connect a speaker to the radio.

i agree positive wire probally arked on chasis and fried the sound board,or if you are using the stock amp check that it is getting power,check all your wiring.

its either the radio or amp and btw when you bought the aftermarket hook up did you get one for amp or is it a regular one?

there a few ways i'm sure i just bought the jumper harness and bypassed the amp totally,or you could just run wires from headunit to each speaker indavidually..

Thats to much work. Ebay that kit is $3.00 and thats shipped.Besides you want to get the best out of your stock infinity system.
