So when i put my cluch in it is REALLY lose. i saw a post from a long time ago and it said to replace the slave cylinder and put in a ss line. Then bleed it. i am not machanicly incline so my question is

Can i install this myself or do i need to get it professionaly done?

Thanks for any help

Probably the nylon bushing in the pedal where the pin attaches the master cylinder to the pedal assembly (under the dash).

The bushing on my GS was completely worn away, and the pedal itself actually began to groove the pin....although mine didn't squeak.

ok so now i went to lube up the pedal for the squiking noise and noticed a part leaking

here is a picture of it. i circled (green) where it is leaking from.

Why is it leaking?

That's why your clutch fluid is depleting.

Replace the clutch master cylinder and the leaking will stop.

You'll probably want to pull the carpet and matting up from that side of the car and clean that area very well. The last two of these that I changed had leaked enough fluid to soak the carpet and matting.

On the front I always jack where the crossmeber that goes under the tranny connects to the core support, then set the jackstands where the lower control arms mount to the chassis.

On the rear, I jack at the center of the axle or the diff (if AWD), and set the jackstands at the outermost points on the axle for better support.

It's best to start at the front- once you jack the rear, the front of the car often dips too low to get a jack under.

It is finally done we changed out the master cylinder and the slave cylinder. Then bleed it like 3 times. I did a test drive and everything seems to work just fine. :thumb:

Thanks for everyones help
