So I took off my oil filter housing completely and cleaned it out. Put it back on, bolted it up and put all the fittings and sensors back on. Put the filter on and oil in it. Went to go and start it and it makes an awful metal on metal sound. Doesn't seem like oil is getting to the head and I have NO oil pressure. I need some help figuring this out guys!

Did you take anything apart on the OFH itself? You said you completely cleaned it, how did you go about cleaning it?

How many miles? Why did you pull it apart to clean it all to begin with? Was there a problem before hand? Was cleaning this all an attempt to repair a problem? Did this happen only after the cleaning? What kind of oil pressure gauge are you using to confirm no pressure? Do you have a aftermarket gauge? An actual tool for checking oil pressure? The metal aginst metal sound you say you hear doesnt sound like it could be good news at all. Fill in a few of the blanks and add a little more description to whats shakin down and im quite sure someone will point you in the right direction

I took it apart to clean it because I was having high oil pressure. Around 100 psi at 3k. I discovered there was bits of the filter in the housing so I took it all off and cleaned it. I put it all back together how it came off and boom, no oil going to the head. I looked more into it and the pump wasn't able to push oil to the head. Took off all oil lines and what not, cleaned them and put it back together. The remand oil pump should be here today or tomorrow. I'm 99% sure I've found my problem. Thank all y'all again though!
