No oil cooler a bad thing?

Yesterday i got the car started for the first time in about 6 months runs like a champ thank you everyone. I had a friend give me a water pipe, and having one in my hand helped me understand alot better how it went in now the diagram makes sense . Other then the o ring leaking, and oil filter housing leaking oil i'm ok, but now i see i dont have a internal or external oil cooler is this a bad thing?

It is potentially hazardous for your car.

Fluids in our car break down from extreme heat. That is why all of our cars have oil coolers and Automatic transmission have external coolers, all of these can be either liquid or air cooled. other systems like our transfer case, rear diff, manual trans cool their fluid by sloshing/whipping it around by the rotating gears.

Oil is extremely important fluid in our cars. Its technically important in call cars, but since we have a turbo, we have components reliant on "good" oil temp and pressure.

I would definitely look into an oil cooler, whether it be from a 90 oil filter housing and using an external cooler, or getting a 91-92 oil filter housing and hooking the water pipe line to it.
