so I recently bought a 97 GST and the only thing really “wrong” with it is that it won’t idle by itself. MAF has been changed 3 times and that didn’t help it. It’ll only idle by itself cold when you unplug the maf but won’t build boost unplugged. It’ll idle when warm though... anyone know what’s wrong?

I was thinking about that but there’s no code for it
ISC won't always throw a code. Mine died and started causing crazy idle issues.. I deleted the ISC/FIAV by using a block off plate and cold starts always require a bit of help with the throttle until the car is warmed up now.

I would take a look at the bottom of the throttle body.. Look for a block off plate. That could be your issue.

It idles at around 1k-1.5k when it’s warm. That could also be my stiff gas pedal too
