ok i have a 97 gsx has 145k on it mods are listed on my page. i recently got ecm link and tuned it myself yesterday at 16psi and it was running great pullling strong and it had more left in it. So today i turned the boost up to 20psi and was tunning it on 20psi nothing went wrong no knock, lean, timing issue. just didnt like the way it was pulling so i lower boost to 16 and start again then i notice its having trouble staying running after i let off gas. Then it gets to the point were i am at now that it will idle and rev fine just when it revs down will almost die then come back and if you try to drive it it will have no power and almost choke out will blow some smoke aswell as it chugs. Ecm link isnt showing my front o2 voltage as moving just sits at 0 could that be the problem, or is it what i fear and lifted the head or popped the head gasket? Btw i returned all setting to stock just to see and didnt change a thing. Ecm link also shows throwing no codes

Well if the head or HG was shot bad enough to cause those issues youd have oil/water mixing.. So check to see if you do... Also youd probably be billowing smoke..
It sounds like you have removed your BOV recirculation tube have you??? That will cause it to run really rich after letting off the throttle i had the same exact thing happening before and after i read around i put the tube back on and its never done it since.
If thats not it either you blew a seal somewhere on the intake manifold or you lost a IC coupler so id say do a boost leak test.
If those check out It could be the o2 sensor does it cycle several times ever couple seconds or does it just sit at 0 the whole time??

bov is recirculated, and i checked all my IC hoses they are normal and no ECM link shows it just sitting at .o V witch is odd i just noticed that after it happend. Im going to check the coolant and oil tom aswell as compression test it. But it does not blow any smoke cept when i try to drive it under load witch is from it running super rich it seems. So seems like a huge boost leak im thinking maybe intake manifold gasket. It just runs to damn good out of boost. Ill start the checks tomorow. To bad i bout had it dialed in and she was pulling damn strong. But like i said at 20psi to start it was going great then as i did more pulls it slowly got slower with spool and didnt pull as hard then i lowerd boost back to 16 and it just went downhill from there.

checked the coolant over flow and rad cap didn't blow off and when it was running didn't overflowing out of the radiator cap opening coolant is green with maybe a hint of like foam. the smoke from exhaust is white with a hint of blue to it. But the white could be from the rainy day and little on cold side after car warmed up it nearly went away. but before it warmed up i could hear it missing at idle. I did have a injector o ring that leaked maybe i blew that out?. Checked all pipes, bov, throttle body gaskets. No leaks... going to check compression next.

Compression reads cyl 1-170 cyl 2- 168 cyl 3-165 cyl 4-160. and and i can only anti lag bout 5psi with fuel enrich at 10% so sounds like a massive boost leak i think.

The running rich could be a boost leak.. The o-rings will cause them too.
Running rich will also cause it to have no power and will cause the car to spool slower.
The foam and white smoke sounds bad man.. Let her cool over night and check the oil again for water.. Also you can look at the top of the dipstick and the oil cap for the foam.. If there is foam its probably a bad HG.
Id personally put in a new o2 sensor if its not cycling at all.
What do your spark plugs look like they are a very good indication of what the motor is doing??Are they all the same color or is one or two different?

after it lost all power i replaced them the old ones looked normal the new ones looked normal, the foam might have been bubbles and the cap and dipstick looked normal. But were could i have sprung that big of a boost leak

Its hard to say man.. Maby Injector o ring.. Could be a IC coupler popped off ive heard of that happening a lot and it causes a lot of the same symptoms yuov got.. That could also cause the O2 not to cycle because it throws things too far out of the ecu's correcting range.

Well i really don't know then man. boost leak check the car and go from there.. If thats good then change the o2 sesnor if that doesn't fix the problem then id say it very well could be a head gasket but IDK.. Compression test will be in order

i already posted results 160 165 168 170... nothing out of ordinary all decent and within 10 of each other

Found the problems, Huge boost leak from my throttle body not even the gasket the throttle body itself were the throttle cable connects to the flapper, Also blew a hole in a stock intercooler pipe. Guess they cannot hold 22psi for very long.
