no honeycombs in mass?

hey there. i recently discovered that i have no honeycombs in my mass. not just the little ones missing either, ALL OF THEM. car runs fine, exept for a random little misfire type "putt, putt" sound at idle that has went away since ive installed my new safc 2.
now, this is making me run lean as hell, right? i get up to 9 counts of knock at wot with the boost at 10 psi(im on stock fuel system with a rewired pump at the moment, have wally 255 but need afpr 1st), got it down to almost 0 with the safc but still, shouldnt get any knock at stock boost in theory, right? so, the obvious solution is to buy a new mass i suppose.
this is so weird, i mean, the dip sh#t who had the car before me or what? i was just checking out the mass cause i was thinking about taking out the little hc, but then noticed i had none at all!!! anyone have 1 for sale i could buy cheap? with all the honey combs in it ?

did you change your plugs and wires? those are notorious for this same problem. my car runs quite well without either honeycomb.

you're not adding fuel with the afc, are you? what sort of logger do you have? i hope you're not relying on the knock sensor in the afc, are you?

well, i have almost brand new accel wires and new bpr6es plugs, gapped correctly at .028, of course. well, as far as the car running well, its running and driving great, its just the knock that worried me. well i put in 92 octane at a different gas station, and its got no knock now and of course i wasnt using the afc knock sensor, that would be bad, i have mmcd on palm m 105. fuel trims are off a bit though, under 100% a little. high ft is at 82.6 right now and the mid and low are at 92.3 and 99.2. thats rich, right? 02 volts are at .89 to .91 though. also, after the gas i put in with no knock on the logger, i put the safc 2 back at 0 all the way. thx for the reply, and any further imput will be appreciated.
