Honeycombs missing on 1g MAF???

I just took off my MAF, which I sorta of narrowed down my no power problem to.

The honeycombs are missing???

So confused. The turbo doesnt appear to be damaged either...

Would the honeycombs not being in there, honestly cause the car to run bad???

yes, the hunney combs help smoth the air coming thru thr maf so it can more accuratly monitor the air flow , with out then the ecu has no diea how much air is relly flowing wit out this info to the ecu the fule trims will be of the engine may run rich off boost or lean on boost eather way replace the honneycombs befor running the engine more.

The honeycombs, plural, as in both honeycomb pieces? That could be an issue, yes.

A popular "free-mod" back in the day (and that is in the Stage 0 mods) was to remove the lower honeycomb: Filter Can Mods. I don't see it discussed very often anymore, but this is how my car is and has been set up for the past 6-7 years.

your better off finding a new maf rather than going through the troubles with finding different honeycombs

I have a 1 g maf you can have works fine. Im going to be upgrading to the 3" gm maf and translator soon. So if you can wait a little bit ill give you mine if your willing to drive out and pick it up.
