Calgary,
I had the fun task of swapping my shift linkage. The cold weather coupled with the tendancy to shift like Brian Spilner caused one of them to snap. Granny shiftin, not double clutchin like I shoulda.
Anyways all jokes aside, I noticed when I put everything back together the car wouldnt start. It was like the clutch pedal sensor was cooked. In any case it did exactly what happens when you turn your key without your foot into the clutch. Click. Head lights went out and then came back on when I turned the key back to acc.
Very odd. So I pulled the headunit out again checking to see if there was some sort of stupid grounding problem. Thats when I found this small cable that looks like an antenna cable not plugged into the headunit. I have an infinity system in a GSX, so I'm curious... With my aftermarket headunit I'm about to put in, will there be problems with the car starting like I had with that peice un plugged?
What happend? I'm a bit worried.
Thanks guys!
