This is the case with my car, when the Coolant Temp. Sensor is unplugged I don't get Random Misfire.
I have a 6 bolt block on my 96 GST. Ran perfect when swapped, blew the turbo, fixed it n have had the RM code since. I accidently tugged the wire off the CTS n the RM stopped. Fix the wire n RM is back WTF!! ???
Anyone have an idea of how this can help me get rid of RM with the CTS plugged in?

PS: I'm running w/o the CTS right now. It doesn't run as smooth as with it plugged in but I don't like RM, it's very annoying...

Do a quick search for a potentiometer install if you don't have Link to disable the Random Missfire bit. :)
