I have a 91 tsi awd with a cyclone motor in it. The car runs good except for a couple little problems. The car idle's funny sometimes (seems like only when it's been running for a while) and also stalls once in a while. The car will also hit fuel cut (what it feels like) in 3rd gear and higher if I step on it at a low rpm. It will pull in 3rd gear and up if I redline 2nd and slam 3rd. The last problem is the car takes a couple cranks to start sometimes (especially when it's cold).
I changed plugs, wires, and fuel filter. I do get a cel after the car runs for a little bit. I went to my friends shop and he hooked it up on the computer and it's throwing 21 Coolant temp sensor out of range and 24 speed sensor (my speedo cable is broke).
So today I went to a local parts store and picked up a coolant temp sensor and put it in the car. I'm still getting the code and after it's running for a while the idle start to surge and will stall sometimes. This is how the sensor is wired up. Is that right?
Also, the sensor (for the ac I believe) isn't wired up right. That wouldn't cause a problem will it? Pic for reference. Don't know if you can tell but the left wire is cut off.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
