Hello. I have a 97 eclipse gsx automatic and it doesn’t crank, no clicks. Turn key and nothing. Lights pop up on the dash and everything else seems to work. If I jump the starter it spins. Where is the starter relay? I’m looking behind the radio and there’s the one for the door locks but that’s it

Odd..I just did this exact same thing 2 hours ago for the same no start/crank issue. Mine was exactly where you are looking right now and expecting it to be..... in that slot next to the other relay. 5-Speed GST.

May you post a pic of the starter solenoid sender wire? I think the previous owner has it messed up

This is how it currently is. The black/yellow one is currently connected to the starter sender. Then it goes over to the connector and there’s another wire that’s currently unplugged and have no idea where it would go that also goes to the same connector that I also have no idea where it goes

So I’m 97% sure I have the starter hooked up correctly. 2 owners ago moved the battery to the trunk but the car came with the harness for it to be in the engine bay. I was looking at it and it’s where the starter signal wire and connector hooked up to in the first 2 pics. I followed that wire goes to the connector in the 3rd pic which goes to the neutral safety switch. Is that correct for it to plug into the neutral safety switch there? Or is it supposed to connect to a different connector? There’s another connector that can plug in where the neutral safety switch that is called the control wiring harness according to another forum with connector identification

So I did some digging on my no crank issue and I have found the culprit. The previous owners swapped in a twin turbo’d v6 in and I guess they decided to delete the starter relay. I found the starter signal wire and many other wires snipped. When I touch it to the other end that I found, it goes into a connector first and I touched it to the prong, turn the key and it cranks. If I manage to figure out where the other wires are, could i buy a relay and wire it in or what would be the best route to take?
