No Clutch Mod

Hey everyone, I know that this is a newbie questions but I could not get any information on this, I saw the 0 Mod list and it was talking about removing the wire from the clutch pedal to start the car without pressing the clutch. I tried finding those wires but could not find them. If anyone can maybe send me a pick of what I am looking for that would help a ton. Once again I know this is fairly simple but I cannot find it.

its a switch on the top of your clutch pedal assembly. should look similar to this.

by the way, i would suggest against doing this, the clutch peddle switch is there for safety reasons, and if you have cruise you will more then likely make it inoperable with this mod.

Have you tried to start the car without the clutch pressed in?

If you get up under the dash you should see a switch on the front side of the clutch petal that has two wires coming from it.

Thanks! That pic helps alot! I think I remember seeing it. And yes I know that its a safety feature but I prefer not to have it. We all have our preference. I will check tomorrow morning and will let you know if I found it.

There's 2 switches on different plugs. It's the one with the black and green-black wires. Not the cruise disable with the black and black-red.

I really wanted to do this mod but I live in apartments where car theft is starting to rise.
I was like, wait a minute. I have a clutch lock and doing this mod makes my lock useless

Found it and disconnected it. Car starts without pressing the clutch. Thanks again guys!

Had mine disconnected for years, never had an issue with the cruise, it always disengages if i press the clutch.

Glad you figured it out. Like other people have said this isn't always a good idea. My friend had this mod along with a remote start. He always parked his car and used first gear as a parking brake instead of the actual parking brake.

Well when his dad went to unlock his car he hit the remote start instead, destroying my friend's hood when it rear ended the trailer hitch on his dad's truck.

Hey what if you installed the switch on the parking brake. That way even if you were in gear the brake may stop her from driving away
