Hey guys, I know there are TONS of clutch pressure threads on here, but after reading through 10,000 of them, I'm still not sure what my problem is.

I have done an awd swap over the winter and my clutch (ACT 2600) was working perfectly before. I blew my fwd transmission and decided to awd swap instead of replacing it. The build included a new ACT flywheel and I stuck with the same clutch. I also ditched the accumulator for an ss line. After bleeding the system endlessly, I cannot get enough pedal pressure to engage the clutch. My master is relatively new. The slave is old, but worked fine last year. Is there any way I could've installed the clutch wrong? Do you guys have any ideas that I can try to fix this thing?

did you pump the pedal during bleeding? if so that's a no no.

and you have checked both the master and slave for no leakage?

Any news

Having same problem now with my gsx when this happened be for on my gst it was the throw out bearing going to change master and slave tomorrow good luck with your please update if you find anything

I'm going to take off the autozone mc today and order one from mitsu. I'm also leaning towards dropping the trans. That way I can replace the TOB, upgrade to a forged fork and pivot ball, ensure my dowels are in, make sure my linkage bushings are all intact, and, most of all, upgrade to the quarter master twin disk gear drive clutch that I want! I'm pretty sure that'll fix whatever problems I'm having.

Btw, aside from not having enough clutch pressure, the car won't go into gear with the engine running. It's also a little difficult to get into gear when it's not.

alright you need to make sure you have the TOB installed correctly. Having the TOB not installed correctly will cause the clutch hydraulics not to build up pressure but yet be perfectly bled. If you pull the boot back by the clutch fork make sure the clip is still on and the TOB is on the correct side of the clutch fork.
