Hey hows everybody doing Ive done alot of searching and have found nothing. Now its my turn to ask. Well I have a 1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD with a couple upgrades. Full engine rebuild bored.040 over, EVO III 16G, ETS FMIC w/ Short Route Piping, Apexi N1 Turbo-back Exhaust, Punishment Racing O2 Housing w/ External Dump. That all for engine mods.
Well heres the problem I took the car for a drive around the neighborhood and suddenly heard a loud pop. From there the car started stuttering and wanting to stall. After I got the car back home I was checking out my boost gauge as I was free reving to keep the car on and instead of less vacuum with more RPMS I was gettin more vacuum the higher i went up in the RPM Band. I did a compression test and all cylinders are 115-120 straight across. I was told to remove my head and check the head gasket to make sure its not leaking between cylinders but wouldn't my compression be a lot lower if it was leaking between cylinders. Well any help would be greatly appreciated thanks for you time.
