no boost control please help

i've tried three different wastegates, they were internal, the wastegate arms on them were not fully pushing into the diaphram all the way. my car is running horrible, in only a few rpms, the boost flies to 20-22 and the engine stutters rapidly being impossible for me to increase the rpm's any higher. i know this has something to do with the wastegate, does anyone know if i should just buy another wastegate arm and diaphragm or is it the turbo at fault?

You should check for boost leaks as well and make sure all your vacuum lines are leak free.
Do you have a boost controller installed?

yes actually i have four, i have the hallman, the turbo xs, dual stage and another one i forget the name of. i mean i blew throught hem while adjusting the setting and tessted possitively that they work. no i havent done a boost leak test but could this really do so much as that?

that sounds like me when i first got my 1g bov it wouldent go above 20mph because my uicp completly came off. so what i would do i tighten all of the pipes that are related to the turbo and give it a run and if that dosent fix it a boost leak test for sure

are you sure you aren't creeping? i mean you have a 16g which are notorious for boost creep

How much boost creep is normal for a tight system with a big 16G. I'm having trouble controlling mine also. I've tested my BOV and WG actuator. Under full throttle I can't keep it under 15lbs. All upgrades noted in profile.

Try bypassing your boost controller COMPLETELY by feeding the vacuum line/boost source directly into your wastegate actuator. This will allow it to start opening the second it starts to see pressure, and will give you a fully-open wastegate....measure the boost then, and see if it does anything.
