1G No boost? Help please!

Hey guys, i have a 91 talon tsi that ive owned for years now. I recently rebuilt the motor and of course added for mods along the way. For the time being im running a 16g turbo, external wastegate, greddy bov, stm fuel tank line kit, 950cc fic injectors, front mount intercooler and plenty more bs. I just finished putting everything back together a month or so ago and everything runs smooth yet no boost? Ive done boost leak tests and found small leaks. Fixed those and still no boost. Ive taken apart my wastegate and it seemed to be alright from what i can tell. since the boost leak test was good im thinking pre turbo exhaust leak but theres nothing! Im at a loss any help is appreciated!

When you do your boost leak test, does your boost gauge register any pressure?

Just thought of this....you've actually driven the car? You're not just casually revving the car?

As far as the boost gauge reading during the boost test im not sure, ill do another boost leak test and check that. Theres no boost while driving cant even hear this turbo spool like i used too yet it spins nicely and no shaft play

So it's a manifold based gate. Did you block off the wastegate hole in the turbine housing?

Yes, the hole was welded shut

Just in case, I mean the actual flapper hole not the hole where the arm went through. Just making sure we're on the same page.

The hole that the arm went through is welded, the flapper hole is just wide open. Actually I believe the person who owned this before me had the flapper hole a bit wider

Yup. Previous person probably had an o2 mounted wastegate.
