I'm starting to get some money to work with and I was wondering if I could get some direction on what I should do next. So far I have: 1.boost gauge 2. 3" turboback 3. Intake 4. Hallman MBC. I was thinking the next thing might be a datatlogger, but is it worth it with the few mods that I have?
Someone help me pretty please.LOL I FINALLY have cash to mod with and I want to do worthwhile mods.

P.S. I ordered a 14b which is in the mail so I'll have that soon. Other than that, I'm not sure what the next logical step should be.

It would be helpful if you tell us how much money you have to work with so we can give you some advice on what you can buy with your funds. Did you order the other parts needed to fit the 14b in your 2g? My friend was installing a 14b in his gst today and it took forever to get the parts off and he ended up needing some other parts. I currently have a pocketlogger and it's a good upgrade. You're able to monitor your car and make sure it is running properly. A bonus is that you can also clear CELs. Make sure you keep up with the maintenance before you think about upgrades! Tuner's has a stage 1 and stage 2 upgrade list that you should look at to see what else you need (i.e., injectors, fuel pump, UICP, BOV, FMIC).

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also ordered a j-pipe too. I am looking to spend at most another 400-500 at the moment. I'm thinking that the next logical step would be to get a upper intercooler pipe so I can mount my new 1g BOV. If I understand correctly, a 1G BOV will fit on the UICP pipes meant for the type-s BOV's right?

no 1g bov on a greddy flange wont work. it would if it was a greddy bov on a 1g flange. the 1g flange is long and narrow, the greddy isnt as long, so the 1g wouldnt have anything to bolt into. most vendors will have a option for bov flanges upon ordering. a better bov is needed, as the 2g leaks anything past 12psi.

ok if you have a 14b and a j-pipe you still need a oil feed line and return tube, as the 2g return tube wont work with the 14b, or any other mitsu turbo for that matter. you can get the return tube and feed line for prolly 100 for both.

when you get the 14b installed i wouldnt run anything over 15psi. you can do the fuel pump rewire(costs like 15 bucks) and run a couple more psi, nothing over 18. or you can save and put out 100 for a 190lph or 255, but the 255 you will need to buy a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, that costs 250. a 190 will be sufficient on a 14b setup.

then you will need to get something that you can monitor the car with. using a palm pilot and pocketlogger.com software and cable, you can check timing, o2 volts, rpm, etc.

so we got 500 to spend eh? id get
oil feed and return tubes-100
upper IC piping with 1g flange - 100(i think)
1g bov - free(if you have it already)
then do the fuel pump rewire(15bucks using the vfaq.com write up and radio shaq)
or
190lph fuel pump- 90 bucks off some vendors
then id get a palmIIIC(color) 65 was mine off ebay
Pocketlogger software+cable 125

then all you need later is some 550cc injectors, and a safc2 and youre set to run that 14b to its potential at 20-22psi and see some great gains.

Dude, your next step has got to be fuel upgrades. Don't even think of putting that turbo on yet... Fuel pump is the next logical step in mine and a few others' opinions.

Alright, cool. Thanks guys. I'll definately rewire my fuel pump because I don't plan on going anywhere past 18 psi. Also, thanks for the info for the 14b, do you know where I could pick up those lines? There aren't any places that I can think of right now that I live around that sell those.

So this is what I plan on doing:
1. Rewire fuel pump
2. UICP and a figure out a way to mount my 1G BOV
3. Datalogger

and
4. When I install my 14b I'll buy the needed lines.
