yeah, if I had those two cars, I would let the turbo'ed n/t sit and collect dust too. I've personally seen their turbo, wastegate, and bov's fail.

I will argue that alittle. Turbo systems have been around for long before HKS, GREDDy, ect... What is in a turbo system. A turbo, pipe, hopefully a IC, and some plumbing for oil and maybe water. Now, HKS has not redesigned how a turbo works have they? They developed a process to make them and then they started putting them on cars. The do some R&D, mainly in fuel(I dont see a obx EMS) and they sell thier stuff for alot of money. The intercooler is a great point. A intercooler is a simple radiator if you wanted to put the time into it anyone could make one. Unless one of the name brand companies make one out of gold...... they will all work basicaly the same. How much R&D can go into a intercooler?? (Hey this one dosent leak! Looks good to me...) These companies are just reenventing the wheel or in this case the turbo. And making good money doing it.

Heat exchanger technology is actually pretty intense. There is an Australian company that specializes in heat exchangers and has a very comprehensive explaination of the differences between good and bad heat exchangers. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Anyway, there is a big difference between a 90% efficient intercooler at 1psi pressure drop and a 70% efficient intercooler at a 4psi drop even if they both "don't leak".

But when eBay sellers and vendors are buying the exact same kit from the same company, why charge $500 more? Because your name is on it so people will think it's better. I think more companies need to prove their stuff is better. More infrared IC graphs. Get competitive. Bash other vendors by putting your intake manifold on, dynoing, then putting competitors on and see who's is better. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing that a manifold will add 25-40hp but I wanna see, Our manifold flowed such and such over these manifolds. Same with exhaust manifolds, which one spools quicker and disapates heat better.All this R&D to make it better and we have no numbers to go off of.

Theft? Well then, if that's the case and these imitators are violating patent law, then those companies should file suit. Oh wait...they don't. Now why do you think that is?

Meanwhile, every time I walk down the supermarket aisle it just chafes me the wrong way to see all those cheap knock-off toilet paper companies ripping off Charmin's intellectual property. I mean, millions in R&D went into designing a round roll and double-ply, perforated tissue paper!

I can post pics of plenty of Magnus smin falling apart or cracking and other reputable companies that have the same issues. Like someone else said before you have other "reliable" vendors buying the knockoff parts slapping there name on it and upping the price like Dejon. Just like any company that started off they had problems at first but we supported them. So did SSAC but with time there revised manifolds seems to be holding up just fine. I'm not saying go support your knock off companies but there are other option out there then paying 700 for a manifold or 1k plus for an intercooler or 400 for a wastegate setup.

Just like there SRT4 intake pipes they pay $17 for from China, slap an AGP sticker on them and sell them for $159.99. I know there are some reputable vendors out there but some of them are buying the exact same stuff you see on eBay and calling it their own and marking the price way up. Some companies are even paying these "Chinese knockoff" companies to design their products for them.

I would appreciate it if you would stop the lies about my company. If you have a problem with my business and think we don't manufacture our own parts in house, I invite you to stop on by and check it out for yourself.

I can assure you that you're wrong. All of our cores are genuine Spearco, if you want me to crack out the invoices and packing slips I can do that for the last 4 years. I have seen my products copied over the past few years by SSAC.
